In May of 2007 Michael DeMille, a life long friend of The Prophet X joined the Prophecy Records family as co owner of Prophecy Records. Mike comes onboard with an extensive background in secular rock music. One of the first major changes since joining the label was to form an official corporation now known as Prophecy Records, Inc. Mike will be focusing on daily business related concerns and playing a major role in the label getting distribution and marketing. Mike will also be assisting with executive production tasks. Expect some big changes and advances as the prophecy Records Inc team continues to grow and build.
LET THE RIVER FLOW
Riverflow is currently grindin' out some serious hours in the studio with The Prophet X and Dez in preparation for his debut album WEAPONS HIGH which should be released just in time for summer 2007.
This powerful album features appearances by Dez, Upwordz, Khanchuz, NewBorn, The Prophet X and many more members of the Prophecy Records Family.
Riverflow's formal title for the album is Weapons High: A Contemporary Hymnal for the 21st Century Spiritual Warrior. The main focus of this album is an urgent call to repentence and church reform as we stand on the brink of the end of time. Riverflow combines an Eastcoast delivery and clever word play and lyrics with West Coast style productions.
DOS IS BACK!!!
Dos is back in full effect! After a long hiatus that includes going back to school and a couple cage fighting matches!!! The new album entitled "Reconstruction of the West" is in the pre-production stages.
Dos pulled a mararthon of rhymes and beats and recorded the entire album over just one (long) weekend with Dez and The Prophet X in the G Hop Studios in Wasco. Dos laid down verses for close to 16 tracks in one weekend. The album is now in the production stages with Dez and The Prophet X working the boards in preparation for the release towards the beginning of 2008 . BORN TO OVERCOME!
Prophecy Records is pleased to announce that we have recently signed one of Fresno's finest lyrical saints... OVERCOME.
Overcome is the newest emcee to join the Prophecy Records family and we expect big things coming from him. Before the ink even had a chance to dry on the the contract he was already getting started with his album. After getting laced with a handfull of super hot westcoast tracks from none other then The Prophet X and Dez, Overcome started laying down tracks in the C.H.A.N.G.E.S Records Studio, in Fresno, with Ice 4 Christ working the boards.
With a rapid fire vocal delivery and clever lyrics that cut right to the heart, Overcome will very quickly be one of your new favorite emcees.
DEZ IN TEXAS
While the rest of us were here putting it down in the local area Dez flew out to Texas to show them how we do it on the WESTCOAST.
